Opportunities after weight loss
Trusteroids posted:
Let me first start out by saying I in no way believe that just because someone is thin or in shape or any kind of weight, size, gender, race whatever that it makes them better or brings more positive events to their lives more than anyone else. This is just a question that i wanted to get feed back.

So i am an over weight 21 year old female that is currently on a weight loss journey. I have been doing my research and in that research i have seen things and some of those things are experiences after weight loss. To some it up, people say that when a person losses weight he or she gets more bodybuilding opportunities such as jobs, relationships, friends etc. how true is this and what do you all think about it?
Rich Weil, MEd, CDE responded:
Hi Trusteroids
The evidence is very strong for weight bias in many areas. Have a look at these links and then come on back and post what you think. It's an interesting and important topic.
