Why is it that it is so difficult to loss weight as we age and how can you possibly keep enough energy to exercise after a long day of work and coming home exhausted? How do you get the motivation and how do you keep it once you have it?

What's your "priorities"? What do you "value"? Out of 840 waking minutes a day, you can't find 30 for yourself?
