Exercise Tips After Hernia Surgery?
willylorenzo posted:

I was wondering if you have any tips or advice on exercise regiments after hernia surgery? I was working out almost every other day, when I had "belly button" hernia, and it was due to working out excessively. After the surgery, I had stopped working out, due to being afraid you know harming the area where I had surgery. Its been awhile since the surgery, and I would like to get back to working out again. Tips or advice? - on what kind of exercise I should start of with slowly first, and after too?

Thank you! I cant wait for you respond.

Hi willy

Check with your doctor. Most of the time people can resume their usual activities, but it depends and only the doctor will be able to tell you. You don't want to hurt yourself. Go ahead and give the doctor a call. Don't count on online advice for this sort of thing.

Take care,
