    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

    We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

    And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

    What Do You Need to Do?

    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Hi everyone im new to webmd... but ive been following this topic for about a week.. and i would just like to add to this... i believe that u really dont have any control over where u lose weight or where it comes off at... 5 yrs ago 1 was almost 200 lbs at 5feet 2 inches this was not a good look for me... so i made up my mind to loose weight so i ate healthy and excercised reguarly... and im happy to say i dropped down to about 130 lbs.. but the first thing to go was my belly and my breast shrunk i dropped down like 2 cup sizes... but what im still struggling with is my hips and thighs those for me have been the hardest to lose... so i really think it all goes back to gentics.. i feel this way because when i look at my mom she has big hips and thighs as well...

    absolutely genetics-as i mention my butt,arms and legs lost the fat first,belly as it was, and as for cup size-went from C to DD and it isn't going away so far, which sucks because bras are expensive!

    Mine definitely came of the rib cage/chest area, hips, butt and legs first. Still working on the belly. But, that is where I carried the majority of my weight, so I just kind of figure it's taking longer cause it had further to go.

    I'm just longing for that size C again. :{

    If they ever go "down" let me know your secret...please.

    Try Enell sports bras www.enell.com/index.php . They may well be the best for support that you will find.

    I hear this (not on the chest size, I long for MORE!) I know you cant decide where the weight will come off, even if you try to target certain areas, I have been losing and it seems to be going from top to bottom, I have lost a lot around the ribs and it has slowly been moving down to my abdomen and back chub. cant wait for the day when my hips and thighs start shrinking!
    12 pounds down, 9 to go!
