    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I let Emily buy lunch at school. It's something I've thought a lot about, but decided it was worth the risk.

Today, they served a brownie with her lunch. Emily asked the lunch lady if it was OK for her to eat. It turns out it was not ("it came from a nut factory," as Emily put it). She went to the nut free table, and the lunch lady then checked the other kids' lunches there.

I am so proud of Emily for being so responsible. (And yes, I'm beating myself up about the things that could have gone wrong.) But, mostly, very proud of my girl!

Good for her!! It must be wonderful that she can protect herself (to a point). As worried as you were, it turned out well. And good for you for getting to the point of allowing her to buy lunch!

That's great, MrsW...she is taking more responsibility, scary as it is to let her! And she did a great job!
