Allergic to OIL
An_250550 posted:
I have undergone Cholecystectomy 2 years ago and from then on my allergy to OIL have occured more often. I have read that the gallbladder is a small organ that aids mainly in fat digestion and concentrates bile produced by the liver. So without my gallbladder am I now susceptible to allergy? Can somebody help me cope with this predicament as my allergic reaction to OIL is now occuring almost daily and I am bothered drinking medicines as I feel sleepy everytime I take my meds.

Please discuss this with a doctor. No one here is qualified to advise you about the issue.

If you would like advice about how to avoid or substitute for a specific type of oil in your diet, we are happy to try to help with that. Good luck.
