Extreme Couponing - Do You Use Coupons?

I caught a bit of the Extreme Couponing show on TV the other night, my thoughts - Extreme!

I use coupons, I look for coupons, I search for deals! But only if I can do it quickly and only buy things I need and use. No overstocked pantry for me!

Do you use coupons? How much time do you spend looking for deals? How do you organize your coupons? Where do you find your best coupons and deals?

I used to use coupons a fair amount. However, I found they significantly influenced my buying decisions -- in a negative way as they pertain to food. Yes, I saved a lot of money, but I was buying junky food. Coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, and whole grain flours are rare (and usually only in the store rags), so I rarely use coupons now.

me too Eric I used to coupon a lot but now the coupons are all for proccesed foods and not worthy of my attention.
I do occasionally get coupons for my organic yogurt and I use them ...

Yes, Eric and Judy, I was buying items just because I had a coupon which meant more processed items. I cleaned out my fridge last night and found a very old can of biscuits. I am sure I bought them with a coupon and had every intention of using them, but in reality cost me money.

I have only been clipping what we traditionally use. I love the competitors "$5 off $50" type coupons and just found out our local grocery will no longer take those!
