Celebrating Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday?
    Elizabeth_WebMD_Staff posted:
Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday and Shrove Tuesday - Traditionally this holiday was to prepare for the Lenton Season of fasting by feasting on rich fatty foods. Whether you celebrate this time of eating in the traditional way or just for fun, this food festival can pack on more calories and pounds quicker than you can say, "Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler!" - Let the Good Times Roll!

Plan to prepare a Lightened Up Celebration - Take it easy if you are in the Big Easy, opt of one cocktail and sip all evening. Prepare this lightened up New Orleans Red Beans and Rice , Grilled Shrimp Remoulade or Jambalaya.

For dessert, try this spin on the usual Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce - Pumpkin Bread Pudding .

Let us know - How you are celebrating Fat Tuesday?
