Baby foods

My Question ,
Why do certain Baby foods have as much as 17mg of sugar in a small one saving bottle ...and yet there is at least one company ,which chooses to use a meat product ,,but only 1% of fat ..compared to other companies, Using multi vegetables.....and up to 17 mg's os Sugar?
Has anyone done a study on early foods can lead to diseases or obesity later in life?

Apparently they are designed to be palatable to the adults who taste them as well as to the babies that eat them. They add salt for the same reason. My own folks made do with a blender. They couldn't afford it and they didn't like the labels any more than you do!
