Recipe Swap! Greek Yogurt is the way to go!
    Chris_WebMD_Staff posted:
Greek yogurt has become a great substitute for sour cream and more. I use it in dips and many recipes. Do you have one recipe you've tried Greek yogurt in and loved?
    Share please!

I'm a traditionalist - have greek yogurt with berries and maybe a sprinkle of granola.

I also make smoothies with yogurt, a ripe banana, frozen mango and any other fruit I have on hand. When I make smoothies for the kids, I add in some spinach and carrots - they can't even taste it.

I love greek yogurt, i was making tuna salad a few months ago and i got the idea to use greek yogurt instead of mayo. didnt effect the taste one bit, it was really yummy. Tried it with chicken salad as well, same results. Plus it boosts the amount of protein per serving!

I have been looking for more ways to use Greek yogurt!

Here are two things I do with it:

    1. Simple Chive Dip

1 container plain Greek yogurt (be sure to check the fat content as some brands have a lot more fat than others)

    Handful of chopped fresh chives

Pita chips or pretzel chips for dipping.

    2. Tomato, Onion & Cucumber Salad

    Two medium tomatoes, chopped

2 medium cucumbers, peeled & chopped

1 small onion or shallot, chopped or sliced

    2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt

    1/4 teaspoon Adobo seasoning

    Salt & pepper to taste

Just mix it all up and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
