    As to the poll I think it really depends on the person. Gluten in excess might universally cause bloating, but I'm not convinced gluten is harmful to everyone. I went strictly gluten free for 6 wks and I did have less bloating and less stomach aches. I also know that if I cut out all dairy products I feel a lot better, so I could go gluten free but eating rice mac and cheese is still going to cause me bloating. I think it just depends on individuals.
