RoverMom posted:
I have purchased two cilantro plants, but both became yellow and/or limp before they were even planted in a garden pot. It was not due to a lack of water or sunlight. Any suggestions?

Temperature?

I have cilantro in a patio pot. It reseeds itself and comes back every year. It starts growing earlier than most plants and is ready to harvest at the beginning of June. (I'm in New England so earlier for most of the country.) By the end of June as temperatures go up, it bolts and becomes less robust. Later in July it will be pretty yellow. Cilantro likes cooler weather.

Maybe you could put your cilantro pot in a more shady spot?
