    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    My DIY smoothie

    For my pre-menaposal body I enjoy smoothies with low-fat vanilla soy milk. I add fruit and low-fat yogurt -- nothing better.

    Another great smoothie: a chunked up frozen banana, milk (soy, almond or regular), your choice of nut butters, and cocoa powder. The banana makes it really creamy and smooth. You can have it with or without the peanut butter, add yogurt, or add tofu, with our without the cocoa powder, add different frozen fruit, the possibilities are endless. The only limit is the capacity of your blender.

    What brand low-fat yogurt do you use? I have tried several kind and I just find them to be so tart and lacking of flavor. I would love to find a really great low-fat yogurt to have as a snack or to put in Smoothies,etc. thanks.

    Amazingly, I'm still here. I like Greek Gods greek yogurt. I also like Mountain high. And I like whatever high quality store brand is available. But I haven't thought plain yogurt tasted tart since I was a little kid, so I am not sure if my preferences would go with yours. Both Greek Gods and Mountain High are pretty good yogurt.
