I was recently diagnosed with silent acid reflux and started Prilosec. I was wondering how long to expect it take to see results?

I have the same condition (LPR) and recently visited an ENT doc who upped my prescription for omeprazole (Prilosec). I had fairly severe inflammation in my throat and he told me it could take 6-8 weeks for the inflammation to subside.
