    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Education Dept. Issues Warning on Bullying

    Hey crew,

I found this article and I thought it might strike a chord with some of you. On October 26th, "More than 15,000 schools and school districts, as well as 5,000-plus colleges and universities, received a critical reminder Tuesday from the U.S. Department of Education: "To put it simply, in this country, we don't believe bullying should exist," said U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

"To that end, the Department of Education's new guidance makes clear that some student bullying actually violates federal anti-discrimination laws that protect gay, lesbian and transgendered students as well as members of other protected groups." Were you bullied in school because of being GLBTT? Do you think this note is a step in the right direction?
