    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Could it be Cervical Cancer?

During a regular check up while I was pregnant my doctor found abnormal cells and diagnosed it as HPV. She wanted to do a biopsy, but not while I was pregnant. My baby is now 9 months old and still nothing has been done. I am on my 4th period in a 2 month time frame, I've had some abnormal discharge and it hurts during intercourse. I've also noticed lower back pain alot lately. I went back to the doctor a couple of days ago and told her what was happening. She dismissed it as an infection, gave me some medicine and sent me on my way saying " Come back in 3 weeks". She didn't even give me anything to stop the periods, which needless to say have started to interfer with my day to day life. I can't take this and I need help. My mom had the same symptoms when she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Could that be whats happeng to me? Please help.
