I have not had my period since Memorial Day weekend 2011

I have not had my period since Memorial Day weekend. I suffered an enormous amount of stress/depression/deception over the past 6 months. I am also under the care of a pain management specialist for my fibro, nerve issues and lower back and neck issues. I get "feverish" at times but no sweating. What could this be. My period has always been on time each month.
Thanks!!

LOL def. not! Thanks though. I've lost weight as well. I'm really starting to worry. I am unemployed and which Dr to go to is clear, as I can't move without my med's. The cost of being sick makes me even more ill. So sad. Thankful for sites like these. Just hope that the Dr. reads my post and will be able to shed some light on my issue. Many years ago, I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, which was a nightmare, but I can't see that having anything to do with it. I also did not start my period until I was a senior in HS. Along the way, I've had issues with polyps, cysts, but nothing in the last few years. Ahh, the female body....always a mystery....

Have a great day!!!!

I am not an expert, however I too have a MIA period at the moment, but I attribute mine to my polycystic ovaries. I was diagnosed with this condition after my son was born. Only up until last year did my periods get longer and longer to come. After I had my daughter in March, I got a period June, July, and late Aug, and that was the last I had it. I also suffer from an underactive thyroid, but last I had been tested it was at an ok level. I may opt to have it checked again due to my period being so late. Have you been tested for either of these conditions?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have. I have both ovaries but just one tube. That could be a possibility. Finding a Dr down here that will see u without insurance is a fine line. Guess I need to do this next week. As I do have a history of polyps and cysts. UGH....Us females sure do get it all, don't we. Happy Thanksgiving and good luck to you as well. Saving $ on supplies is nice though lol
