Pelvic congestion syndrome

sewhappy5 posted:
After a many tests over a fourteen month period, i was diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome. The pain was excrutiating at times especially in the afternoon and evening hours. I never knew when it was going to effect me making it difficult to live life to the fullest. Recently I had a venogram with embolizaations. Five veins were twisted and the vein draining my right ovary was partially blocked. Women if you are having pelvic pain don't give up and pursue the medical test available to you. I am still healing ,but have a remarkable improvement. I am now able to regain the lifestyle I am accustomed to in my life.

Dear sewhappy: Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your favorable results. Through the magic of internet searching, your subject line will appear to women who have been diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome and who are considering having vessels occluded. ...Hopefully others will see your thread and add their results as well.

Yours,
Jane

Hi swehappy5. Thanks for your post, how was the venogram and procedure? What was recovery like? I've had several surgeries for endometriosis so I'm not excited to get another surgery, especially since I've heard mixed results about this.
