Yeast Infection and late period

BNEL1020 posted:
Two weeks ago I had a yeast infection. It was exactly a week before my period was supposed to start. I took diflucan four days before the day I thought my period would start because the Monistat 3 irritated my skin and only took it once. My cycle lasts about 32 days and now I'm 8 days late.

My question is is it possible my late period has something to do with my yeast infection?
