robotic Hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy on June 25 and everything has been smooth. I took the 6 weeks off of work and it's been a battle to slow down. Just when I feel good, I fall back to feeling tired.

My question is - I'm in my 5th week and just tonight, I feel like I have to urinate all the time. Every time I go to the bathroom, a little bit comes out and it's spottiing more than anything.

I hate it. When I lay down, I have to go back to the bathroom. It's like my bladder is being squeezed. Any suggestions?

I go see my surgeon tomorrow for a check up. I will mention it then.

This happened to me after I had my Hysterectomy you probably have a UTI because they used a Cathader when you were in surgery You had the Divenci last year it wasn't out yet so my GYN did a LAVH lap with vaginal assist. Did you have problems like me I had severe endometriosis and he even had to go back in this year because there were alot of adhesions and endo. Even though everything is gone you can still get cells leftover and they grow anyplace it sucks but hopefully you won't have that let me know if you just want to share stories I am only 28 never had a period just severe cramping. Had to go to 6 GYN's before one finally believed me and actually did something I suffered through two laps before that and even had my brain checked to see if it was in my head. My GYN is awesome and I will never go to anyone else.

Hi! I think everything is ok. And I'm sorry you are so young and have to go thru all that. I went to see my surgeon and they feel my organs are all still trying to get adjusted. The bladder is sitting on the pelvis. So the bladder needs to adjust also. I was given Oxybutin a while back for this issue and I renewed my script and it's helped. I also have sat with the heating pad on my stomach and it helps too. It relaxes the stomach muscles.
Sorry again you are going thru such issues so young. I ended up needing the surgery because I had a uterus that was twice the normal size and 8 huge fibroids. I would never had been able to carry a child they told me.
