Butt pain during period

I am so glad I found this discussion. I have suffered from the same symptoms for almost a year since my ablation. I used to get them when I was a teenager ocassionally but now in my late 30's, I get them every month during my period for about 3 days. I feel like I have a stick up in my anus while I sit and have a BM or pass gas. If I sit and try to get up, I feel my insides are going to fall out through my butt. I had a vaginal ultrasound a few weeks ago and my Gynecologist said it came back normal. She doesnt understand what I am talking about when I describe my symptoms, ugghhh
