expired birth control pills

Hello--

I'm wondering if it's okay to take birth control pills that are past the expiration date. I have some packs that are only a month or two beyond the date and some that are four to six months past the date of expiration. Will these pills still be effective?

Thanks!

I would ask my pharmacist.

It is quite likely a Pharmacist will tell you these pills will have reduced effectiveness (especially the ones that are four to six months past their expiration date).
