Spotting/discharge in between periods

I've been off birth control pills for two months now and have been spotting and/or discharging ever since. I don't know what is my period. Needless to say, very irritating. I'm never clean. My husband isn't that happy either. Is this normal?

Spotting is common when first starting birth control and it can last 3 months. If it is really bothering you, you can talk to your doctor about a possible change in birth control. There are many different formulations out there and a different one may work better for you.
