Hormone and Devolopement advice

infinityXinfinity posted:
i am 25 years old and i have never had a menstrual cycle. When i was a child i had cancer, a side effect of this were some developmental problems such as low hormone, no period, and slow devolopment. Now what i need advice on is at the age of 12 i was checked out by a gyno and was told that i was devoloping normally. However, my hormones aand devolopement seem to cease by the time i was 14. I have little or no sex drive, and now that i am losing weight my breast are pretty much not there. I remember once a doctor told me that taking birth control could help me have a period and in turn increase the hormones necessary for female devolopment. is this true or is there something else i can look into? Thank you for all advice and comments.

Well i would search for a specialist. You have a very difficult situation. Birth control is hormones so i can understand why a doctor would say that it could help with a period. and when you lose weight your breast go as well in any person. I would recommend seeing a OB/GYN specialist or a specialist that deals in development of human bodies.
