Jane Harrison Hohner, RN, RNP responded:
Dear An: Gosh, that type of pain distribution could come from a number of different body systems: an abdominal hernia, abdominal muscle strain, left sided kidney stone, left ovarian cyst, left colon condition, problem with the spine or back nerves whereby the pain is referred to the abdomen as well.

PLEASE, please go see a general practice MD so they can begin an evaluation.

In Concern,
Jane
