abnormal period

I have been having a period every 2 wks for last 3 or 4 mo. First I attribute it to stress in my life at the time, divorce, drama at work, leaving my job, moving....etc. Thinking back, 4 months ago, I had a sexual encounter w a stranger, only once as intercourse, 2nd stranger,1 month later only as oral sex, me on him. 1 month after 1st encounter I remember a "period" as a brown thin flow and very light. No pain or itchiness, no smell or discharge, no sores. After 2nd encounter I noticed only a sore throat, (which I thought was fm a very long weekend), throat is better except a mild irritated feeling w a dry, sticky feeling sometimes. With my period my flow was not bad at first, but it would still cont. for 7 days. The last 2 mo the flow has worsened, I have sched an appt w a md because I can not afford a gyno visit.

It is good you are getting this looked into medically. Please mention the unprotected sexual encounters that took place before you began experiencing this abnormal vaginal bleeding.

I guess it is more likely I have an std than anything else going on...

I have been tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia and results were negative.
