Tired all the time

GroBone posted:
For many years I was tired all the time and I think I finally understand why. I was under- nourished. I now eat only organic foods, I've added dark greens like kale to my diet. I no longer eat any meat that hasn't come from organically fed animals. I eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables that i buy weekly at our local farmer's market. I avoid any & all processed foods. I rarely shop in big chain grocery stores as there are so few items that qualify as food in the sense of nourishing one's body. I have also eliminated most sweets other than fruit and I avoid all sources of GMO's such as corn and soy unless I know it's been organically sourced. Corn and soy are frequently used as additives in most processed foods (think high fructose corn syrup, for one). And you can bet they contain GMOs. I also shun sodas as they for the most part contain high fructose corn syrup which contributes mightily to our obesity and diabetes epidemics. This means filtered water is my beverage of choice. I also get plenty of exercise.
