What is a fibroid?
Anon_6061 responded:
Fibroids are benign uterine growths and are quite common. They generally grow during perimenopause and then shrink after menopause. If they aren't too troublesome, a watchful waiting approach may be all that's needed. If they're causing heavy bleeding there are hormonal and non-hormonal meds that can reduce the bleeding. There are also meds to shrink them if their size is causing bladder problems or discomfort. And of course there are surgical treatments too. This may be helpful -
