I have in the last 2 weeks been suffering from extreme bloating and swelling of the abdomen after I eat. Combined with excessive burping. Often my heart raised is raised, I have sweating, and pain in the upper and lower abdomen like cramping. Going to the toilet has been regular but difficult. I have difficulty sleeping due to shoulder, neck and back pain. I am a PE teacher, member of the gym, very healthy, however this has stopped in the last month or so as I am too tired to do anything. In the last 5 days I have developed other symptoms such as aching pain in my legs and arms, cracking and aching joints, weakness in my legs and arms, shaking in my legs, arms or whole body, pins and needles in my feet and calves, it can sometimes be difficult to stand up or lie down. I have visited my GP 3 times. On the first occasion I was told I may have a blockage in my intestines and given anti-bloating medication. The second visit with no improvement (and after a severe 12 hour migraine after commencing medication) I was given 2 blood tests. The third occasion I visited to get the results and saw a different doctor on duty. I was told that I was in perfect health and there is nothing wrong me at all and I should go home and suck it up. Since then 3 days have passed and there has been no improvement at all. (Other tiny perhaps unrelated items I have noticed lately are a style or pimple/lump on the middle of both my eyelids in the exact same position and thinning of my hair). Can you please help and advise if there may be something going on that needs attention? Or a second opinion?

Consider an appointment with a Gastroenterologist.
