Bump of Labia
An_248384 posted:
I noticed a bump on my labia minora while I was in the shower this morning. It's a smaller red bump and wasn't painful until the day progressed. It's more of an uncomfortable pain than an excruciating pain. It also feels like the left side is swollen compared to the right. I've had cysts before, but they weren't this close to the vaginal opening which is what worries me about the possibility of an STD. I haven't been sexually active since my relationship ended towards the end of June. I don't know what the timeframe is for symptoms to occur if it is herpes or if it is just a cyst, zit or ingrown hair. Thoughts?
georgiagail responded:
This is likely a pimple or possible a sebaceous cyst from an irritated hair follicle. It is likely to become more uncomfortable until it is drained.
