Dear An: Wow, have you thought about a backpack to help distribute that much weight over both sides of your body? When my "purse" (20 year old leather brief case from Coach) hits the 15 pound mark it can really change my balance and stride.

Loved your story. You definitely win the prize. I'm thinking the prize should be an internal frame backpack--but alas they do not come in nice leather finishes.

Thanks for making us smile. You must be a great person to have along when traveling; you'd always have whatever was needed.

Yours,
Jane
