    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

According to info on Dr. Oz's site, ablation isn't supposed to be done if you have adenomyosis because it can make it worse. Also, Dr. Oz had a show that talked about hysterectomy being the #1 surgery women don't need -

ACOG says that 76% of them are inappropriately recommended - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10674580. This can make it hard to find a doctor who will try more conservative treatment options. And if you seek treatment from a surgeon (gyns are surgeons), you're probably more apt to get a recommendation for some sort of surgery.

THankyou for the input. I Had the ablasion to control heavy bleeding At that time there was no tears .I Had test done when this started and was tryed on hormones but it did not work. I am not sure how old u are but it was me who suggested to my doc i wanted it taken out. I am sick of the bleeding problems & birthcontrol pills never worked for me always had break through bleeding. My intentions were to tell u what the bleeding prob. could be in your case.not to tell u a hysto was the only option. in the end it is your choice .mine was to end my personal problem. I would hav went to another doc.if i felt diff.about it i have faith in my doc i have been going ti him since i was 16.
