I need help with a hysterectomy question
    An_248920 posted:
I am thinking my friend is pulling the wool over my eyes (again.) She had a hysterectomy 7 weeks ago and claims she has over 100 stitches on the inside of her? Also she is still bleeding? How can this happen?

Any medical help would be appreciated.

Have you asked your friend how she knows she has 100 stitches inside of her?

It is not unusual to have a discharge for a while after undergoing a hysterectomy so yes, this is not unusual. However, if the bleeding is very heavy 7 weeks after this surgery, she needs to contact her physician about this.
