The Doctors office and Pregnancy Tests

My last period was two weeks ago and the last time I had sex was a week ago. It was protected. If I went to the Doctors office would they be able to take a urine sample and be able to know if I was pregnant or not at this time?

If your intercourse was protected, why do you believe you need to take a pregnancy test?

If you wish to take one using a urine sample, use what the physicians office would use; a home pregnancy test.

Also, a week after sex would be too early for a pregnancy test to work.
