spotting after partial hysterectomy
An_250773 posted:
Can anyone tell me is this normal to spot after a partial hysterectomy after 6 months after surgery?
tlkittycat1968 responded:
No, it's not normal. You need to see a doctor.

Do you still have your cervix? If you do, you may have regular spotting or even a "mini" period because some endometrial tissue can be left on the cervix. If your cervix was removed, there can be other reasons for the spotting such as vaginal atrophy or endometriosis. An exam would be needed to determine the definitive cause.

No, I don"t have my cervix and some times around the time I would have had my menstrual cycle I would see that just a little like a day or so. Then I noticed hours after intercourse I would see that same symptom. It doesn't stay long but its shocking to see anything.
So you thing I do need and exam for this?

Thank you so much.
