This morning I awoke and was spotting...I think Flo is back in town after three years! Is this normal? I am just shy of turning 55 next month and I have not had a period for three years...going though the whole menopause issue.

Nope, not normal. You should see your doctor.

This is not a menstrual period. The most common reason for vaginal bleeding after menopause are uterine fibroids; benign growths in the uterus that can cause bleeding if they expand into blood vessels.

Of course, more serious tumor issues can also cause bleeding which is why it is important that you get this checked out.
