Spotting instead of period...

My girlfriend and I haven't seen each other in three months... When we finally get to see each other , we had unprotected sex and used the "pull out" method.. This is Tuesday and she's supposed to start her period on Thursday.. When Thursday comes she has normal red bleeding and then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday she has light pink spotting.. Now she's scared she's pregnant.. What do you think could cause this?

It's possible she didn't ovulate and usually no ovulation means no period. It will happen to most women at least once during their reproductive years. It's common and nothing to worry about.

If she's worried and it's been at least two weeks since the unprotected sex, she can take a test. If it's negative, she can wait and see if her next period comes.
