I haven't had my period, I believe I should have had it about 3 weeks ago, I have taken 2 pregnancy tests now, both negative... I have always know when I was pregnant - tender breast, extreme morning (noon & night) sickness... I have not felt any of this... I could be wrong on how late I am, there has been alot going on these past few month, I believe my last period may have been sometime in August.

Option number three...

You may simply have skipped ovulation this cycle. It happens to many women at least once (and often more than once) during their reproductive lifetime. No particular reason for this.

If this continues then yes, the issue of beginning peri-menopause at 42 might be considered.
