Started birth control pills, but only had spotting for 2 days?

I started birth control pills on day 1 of my cycle (Saturday) but only had light spotting for 2 days. The first day I also had slight cramps. I had unprotected sex on day 9 of my cycle last month before getting on the pill. I now have very tender breasts and am a little emotional. Could I be pregnant, or is this normal when starting birth control?

If you had unprotected intercourse BEFORE starting birth control there is always a possibility of pregnancy.

Take a pregnancy test first to rule this out.
