Yeast infection with no discharge?

I *think* I may have a yeast infection or some kind of infectiopn. But there is no smell or discharge. I am bleeding a little but I think that is just spotting before my period. So, with the bleeding there may a little bit of clear discharge but I can't tell if it's part of the blood or not ya know. Anyway why I think there may be an infection is cause it itches down there. Like around the clitoris, right on the outside, and a little bit into my vagina. Should I use a yeast infection medicine or try a douche? Can the cream for just ichness and dryness during normals time (in case this isn't an infection) be used on my clitoris and right inside my vagina? Need more info? I put a light tampon in today for the spotting and when I pulled the cardboard app. out it scratched just right and felt good to the itchness. I know that sounds weird but I wanna know the answer cause it itches! What should I do/try?

a yeast infection usually produces a thick clumpy looking discharge in addition to the itching, and a foul odor. If you are not sure what you have I would see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. Do NOT use a douche. If you do have any kind of infection it can force bacteria higher into the vagina and make it much worse, and if you don't have any infections it can cause them.

I took a Vagisil screening kit test and it said I had a p.h. level of 5.0 which is a bit abnormal. When I took the test out of my vagina it had a bit of white discharge on it. Still no smell, heavy or yellow/green/gray discharge. I bought a yeast infection kit so hopefully that will fix the problem. But what gets me is the itching is only on the clitoris and a little inside the top of my vagina.

Hey! So did the yeast infection kit work? I'm curious b/c I'm having the same problem! You see, this is my version. I've been on low-level estrogen birth control pills for about three months. I spotted every day for 3 weeks out of the 4 in a month. After I finished the 3rd pack, it stopped. HOWEVER, I started having, what appeared like, a rash in the area between my vagina and anus. It was real itchy and appeared red. So my GYN doctor diagnosed me with a bacterial infection and gave me a one-time application cream that comes in the form of a tampon, and is used as such. Turns out that 14% of 100 women that take the cream may develop a yeast infection.. well I think I beat the odds. The day after I had a whole lot of white stuff come out of my vagina, which I thought that was my body excreting excess cream, but the discharge continued for about 3 days though the amount that was excreted became gradually less. Now, I have no discharge, I don't smell at all.. but I have an uncomfortable itch and redness around the clitoris area and the top of the hole of the vagina. The doctor gave me a one time yeast infection pill called Fluconazole, but I had bought the Vagisil anti-itch cream and a vaginal moisturizer to help the dryness (oh, this is another thing I have going on which I believe is the cause of taking low-level estrogen pills. can anybody confirm that, though?). So, again (lol), did the yeast infection kit work for you? :)
