Try the symptom checker, it helped me. I had a lot of strange symptoms, one being weight gain no matter what I did. The checker showed Hypothyroidism so I looked it up and I had most of the symptoms. I already had the blood test and it was confirmed a week ago and since starting on my thyroid meds I am already feeling better and went down 2 lbs.
