Hi everyone!
You may have noticed that this board has a bit of a different look and feel than our other WebMD communities. We are using this format to test a fun new type of community -- the Challenge.
Each challenge will have a specific topic, such as this Healthy Plate Recipe Challenge. Then, every Monday for six weeks a new prompt, in this case for new recipes, will be posted to the board.
Members will submit their recipes by choosing "Recipe" from the Post Now drop down at the top of the community page. Other members will be able to vote if they like your recipe suggestion, and you can vote on theirs.
The recipes with the most votes will appear updated daily in the Popular Recipes module on the right side of the page. At the end of each week, the top five winners for that activity will be announced to the entire WebMD Community.
The Leaderboard on the right side of the page will be updated weekly to reflect an overall tally of which members taking part in the challenge are getting the most votes. At the end of the 6-week challenge, we'll be bragging about those top winners across the site and featuring your recipes as well. You may even see your name on WebMD's home page and in one or our Food, Fitness or Diet newsletters!
