Hi this is my favorite breakfast
for 2
1 Cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 Cup fat free milk
hand full of craisins
1 T honey
cinnamon to taste
1 empire apple peeled and sliced thin
1Tablspoon chopped walnuts or other nuts like sliced almonds work
use sauce pan
and add enough water to cover craisins boil for a second or 2
add in honey and cinnamon
then add in milk and oats cook till desired consistancy
add in slice apples and cover let set for 5 minutes before serving
top with the chopped walnuts that setting is enough to cook the apples to a tender yet still crisp I think pears woould work in this recipie too
I also like my apples sliced and topped with peanut butter for a snack
I eat pears plain snack like
