I am in my early 60s, have a ICD and have felt light headed and almost fainted while having sex. My breath get rapid and have trouble catching my breathe, almost to the point of passing out. I know the way to solve the problem is to abstain, but what is the remedy or options.

It depends on what the problem is.

I would start with your cardiologist and have them interrogate the ICD to see what was happening during that time.
