2% hydrogen peroxide treatment for heart failure

Was wondering if anyone had any info on this. Daddy's been doing research about saying its brought ef % up in patients with heart failure. When topic was brought up to an ER nurse while he was in for a heart attack (brought on by bp meds cardio prescribed day before) the ER nurse in nicer terms said he was full of crap n it's a myth. Said that would kill a person. Info would be helpful here as well as web links. I'd like to be able to bring in paperwork on it to his next cardio apt.
