Could anyone please tell me how long should a person suffering from Schizophrenia ,currently being stable on medicine, should continue his medication? Is it for lifelong and is there a chance of recurrence if he stops his medication? The man is now 40 years old and he is taking his medicine(a single combination pill of trifluoperazine and Benzhexol) now for 8 years.
