Open heart surgery to marathon in only 6 months

hello fellow valvers

i had open heart surgery on september 17 at upenn and on march 17th im running a marathon as a fund raiser for the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.

this will help show those about to under go surgery that that doesnt mean your physical life has to come to a stand still nor be in pain long term

To many heart patient have a fear of having an active lifestyle.

However, as you are showing most people can return to an active lifestyle. Or even a wakeup call for those that where not active before.
