2 week break

Well, I thought I needed to do a little more weight training work. And of course overzealously did just enough too much to set myself up for an injury.

I damaged some muscles just below or among my lower ribs on the right side, between some weight work, some subsequent bowling a few days later, and I'm not sure what else.

A week later, bowled 2 games again as it did not hurt, and strained it half way through the 2nd one. So ANOTHER week off, with just light walking.

Its finally starting to feel much better now, and I think I can resume my treadmill and gingerly try my rowing machine.

So don't jump into anything too quickly. I've been injury free from exercise for a long time, outside of the occasional cramp. But anyone can hurt themselves just getting a little outside their current envelope.

Best wishes in good training,

DMW
