I am rowing on the water at least every other week, sometimes every week, and now and then even twice a week.

Playing volleyball Tuesday and Thursday evening for 90 minutes, and alternate Sundays for 2 to 4 hours.

Only as old as you feel.

Last Friday I rowed with a young woman, 27 who runs, and teaches yoga. I wore out the poor thing in an hour, she said she might need a nap. I was relaxed and felt fine.

Now that its a lot colder, I am mostly sticking to indoor volleyball, plus treadmill, and some light weight work. I can still use my rowing machine indoors.

But I did get a strain in my left rhomboid area near the shoulder blade, so no rowing until that is healed, and strengthened.

Glad my cardiologist's approved adjusting my blood pressure medicine. I now take 1/8, 1/6, or 1/4 tablet most times to maintain blood pressure in a tolerable zone. More than that and I am too drowsy.

I also discovered I love my "The Byrds" Greatest Hits CD. I can put that on and drive without getting drowsy. Interesting poetic lyrics, or silly ones, I never get tired of hearing, and great intrumentation. That steel guitar has just enough minor irritation to stay in mind all the time, too.

Some warm January weather in Los Angeles.

Played 90 minutes of volleyball Saturday, and 4 hours on Sunday. Played well, teams I was on won 5 of 7 games, and the two losses were very close. Good to be a positive contributor, help teams win.
