I would like to re locate to Fairbanks Alaska, but understand the air is "thin" The elevation is low (447 ft). Is this not a good idea for a double by-pass patient? I am a 67 year old female, who has lived in Sun City, Az for the last 20 years.

Depends how you feel. It might be wise to try have an extended vist or two, winter and "summer", and see how you tolerate it.
